Who knew that Wilbré Klaase would go on to become the Platkloof protégé of rugby.
At the age of 15 (in 2020) he was drafted by Witteberg High School in Bloemfontein. to play rugby after they noticed him when he was still in Steynville Secondary School in Piketberg. He is currently playing in the school's Griffon Grant Khomo u/16A league. It was our pleasure to sponsor him for this past weekend's game at King's Park Durban against the Sharks Academy. They lost 41-7 but the experience they gained is unimaginable.
This coming weekend (8-9 October 2021) they will be playing against the OP Kings in Graaff Reinet.
With previous and current interests by both the Cheetahs and The Shark Academy we can only be certain that great opportunities still awaits this young lad.
